How To Deal With Gray Hair?

Have your hairs started graying? Well, we feel you! It is really frustrating.

Speaking technically, our hair start turning gray due to the lack of a pigment called melanin which is responsible for the hair color.

Here is how you can deal with this nightmare in a natural way:
1. Amla and heena pack
Make a paste of heena, amla powder and coffee powder thick enough to apply it smoothly over the hair. Leave it till it dries. Wash it off with a sulphate-free shampoo after an hour. Repeat this at least once a month to prevent graying of hair. These ingredients also act as a good source of nourishment for your hair.
2. Coconut oil and lemon
Take some coconut oil in a bowl and add a tablespoon of lemon to it. Stir it well and apply it to your hair. Make sure to apply more of it in the roots and at the tips of the hair. Massage it properly and leave it overnight. Wash it off in the morning with a sulphate-free shampoo.

Repeat this twice a week to prevent your hair from turning gray. It is important to note here that this process isn’t effective in reversing the already gray hair, however, it can definitely keep the situation under control.
3. Curry leaves
Boil some curry leaves along with the coconut oil until you see the mixture turning blackish. Once curry leaves leave their essence, let the mixture sit idle. Once it has cooled down, apply it to your hair and leave it for an hour or two. Wash it off with a shampoo. Do this twice or thrice a week.

Curry leaves are helpful in bringing the melanin back to the hair follicles and prevent graying of hair.
4. Ripped gourd
Chop a ripped gourd and let it dry until it has dehydrated completely. Once it is dried, soak it in the coconut oil for 3 days. Boil the mixture for a few minutes. Apply the strained mixture after it has cooled down. Wash your hair after about an hour. Do this 2 to 3 times a week.
5. Potato Peels
Boil the potato peels until you get a starchy solution. Strain the contents in a bowl and let it cool down. Use this solution for washing your hair. The starchy solution masks your hair and prevent them from turning gray any further. Do this once or twice a week.
6. Black pepper

Grind the black pepper and form a paste of it with yogurt. Apply the paste to your hair right from the roots to the tip. Rinse the hair with a shampoo after leaving it for an hour. Black pepper helps in reversing gray hair and yogurt is good for making your hair smoother.
7. Onion juice

This is the simplest. Take out the onion juice in a bowl and apply it on your scalp and leave itfor half an hour. Rinse it with a shampoo. It is an effective way to reverse graying.

Adopt these easy-to-follow method and prevent your hair from turning gray naturally!
