Face Yoga: Anti-Aging Exercises To Age Like Fine Wine

How often have you tried to look young with fewer or no wrinkles around the eyes? Embrace face yoga whole-heartedly.

Here are a set of exercises that would make you look younger in a more natural way, focusing on skin relaxation, acupressure, and massage.

 

  • For attractive eyes

The first exercise revolves around forming a V around the eyes. This yoga exercise is performed in order to get rid of wrinkles around the eyes and to make the eyes look brighter and more active.

The exercise is simple. All you have to do it place your two middle fingers in the space in between the eyebrows and then use your index fingers to apply pressure on the outer corners of the eyes. In this position, move your eyelids upwards. Repeat this six times and relax.

 

  • For a confident smile

This particular yoga activity is useful for reducing lines around the lips and to highlight your smile.

For this, you need to smile and cover your teeth with your lips at the same time. Eventually, you would be forming an O shape with your mouth. Thereafter, maintain the smiling posture and put one finger on your chin and move your jaw up and down by moving your head. Repeat it 6 times for best results.

 

  • For a beautiful neck

Next up is an exercise meant for keeping the neck area fit and free from wrinkles and lines. There are two parts of this task.

Firstly, look straight ahead and place your fingertips on the neck. In this posture, pull your skin down while pushing your head back. Secondly, jut your chin out and up with fingertips on the collarbone, and keep trying to pull the corners of your mouth downwards. Hold this posture for 4 deep breaths. You could repeat this twice to bring about some positive effects.

 

  • For a flawless forehead

If you are concerned about potential forehead lines, we have the perfect exercise for you. For this. Place both your hands on the forehead, keeping the fingers spread out, in between the hairline and the eyebrows. In this position, sweep the fingers outwards, and apply light pressure.

This is done in order to tighten the skin and get smoother textures. Perform this yoga exercise for a few seconds and then relax for some time. Thereafter, repeat this exercise for about 10 times.

 

  • For the perfect eyebrows

Finally, the last exercise on this list is for catering to the skin below the eyes and the eyebrows.
This is a rather easy one.

With the tips pointing towards the nose, place your fingers below your eyes. Make sure your teeth are hidden by your lips and the lower and upper lips are as far away from each other as possible.

Next, you stare at the ceiling and keep fluttering your eyelids. In this way, maintain the posture for 30 seconds.
Take a few moments of rest and then repeat the whole process.
